On March 2nd, it marked one year since the passing of Cristina Macaya, a prominent hostess in Mallorca, who was a member of the board of trustees of msbb and a close friend of Yannick and Ben Jakober.
At msbb, we have just showcased a selection of her personal shoe collection as part of the museum's permanent exhibition.
The use of high heels and daring shoes was characteristic of Cristina, making this display a tribute to her.
Queen Sofía has just been awarded the Gold Medal of the Balearic Islands, a distinction granted by the Balearic Government for "her unwavering commitment to solidarity projects that benefit society and for her connection to and promotion of the Balearic Islands."
From msbb, we are proud to have her unconditional support and we congratulate her on this award.
